Broke through the barrier gates, was quickly restrained, examined by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to race. J. Byrne reported that his mount knuckled on jumping and did not show any speed and as a result he eased it to obtain a trail back in the field. He added that the filly never travelled throughout the race and was very disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
