Brushed the running rail near the 300m. Trainer R. Heathcote reported that the mare may have choked down and he will now consider adding a tongue tie to the horse’s gear for its next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be sore in both front fetlocks. Mr Heathcote was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to it racing again.
