Raced three wide with cover throughout. Near the 250m bumped on the hind quarters. Rider R Maloney reported that the gelding did not feel comfortable throughout. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding identified a slower than expected recovery from racing. A post-race swab was also taken for analysis.
