C/O/T-attempt to lead. Ridden accordingly. Passing the 300m, shifted out abruptly before being corrected and shifting back in passing the 200m and continued to race greenly for the remainder. When asked about tactics adopted, Rdr stated instructed to attempt to lead and allow gelding to find its own rhythm, which ultimately meant led by a good margin and when placed under pressure in the early part of the home straight, failed to respond to riding. A post-race vet exam revealed a slow recovery.

Laid out in the early part of the home straight before shifting in. Near the 300m, improved onto heels and obliged to alter course to its inside to secure clear running. Near the 250m, was tightened between runners and steadied. A post-race vet exam revealed mare to be lame in its near foreleg. Tnr advised requires vet clearance prior to resuming.
