Began awkwardly. When queried re ride in the early part of the home straight, Rdr instructed to have gelding settle where comfortable and to allow mount to balance up in the home straight before applying full pressure-added when placed under pressure, gelding only finished fairly and peaked in its run approaching the winning post. Tnr rep confirmed instructs, adding gelding had a short sprint, and as such had to be ridden conservatively early in the home straight.
