Near the 800m, when over racing, shifted wider on the track. When asked to comment the performance, jockey M. Powell stated that the horse did not appreciate racing between runners in the early stages of the event, and that ISLES OF AVALON continued to race ungenerously between runners from the 500m and in his opinion this had a detrimental effect on the overall performance of the mare today.
