After being slow to begin, failed to muster any speed and as a consequence did not take any competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be agitated but with no other clinical abnormalities. Jockey R Plumb stated that the filly failed to travel comfortably at any stage of the event and in his opinion may have tied up. Traiber advised horse would be sent for spell
