Slow to begin. When questioned as to the disappointing performance, Jockey Anthony Allen explained that the mare was fractious in the barriers and slow to begin and never travelled comfortably during the race and was disappointing in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have the thumps.
