Bumped heavily at start and became unbalanced. Near 1100m checked after improving onto the heels of DEEP LEAD. Rider questioned re performance - stated after receiving interference at start was unable to take up a forward position as anticipated. Added attempted to comply with instructions and improved forward however, filly failed to show necessary speed and instead of being caught wide elected to obtain a position with cover towards rear of field. Added filly ran on fairly over concluding stages and in his opinion would appreciate a step up in distance. Vetted - no abnormalities.
