When asked to comment on the performance of the gelding, Jockey Galloway explained that the gelding races well early in its campaign and today being its third run in, failed to travel throughout the event and in his opinion is now looking for races longer than that of today’s event.

When asked to comment on the performance of the mare, Jockey A Allen stated that after having a reasonably tough run being caught wide throughout it failed to run on over the concluding stages. He also expressed his opinion that the track may have been too firm for the mare today.
