Trainer questioned tactics and improved performance - advised intention to be ridden in a forward position at last start however, over shorter distance unable to muster speed and obliged to settle further back. Added following disappointing performance two starts ago had received treatment for stifle issues and had trialled well. Added gelding began on terms with field today and from wide barrier over longer more suitable distance was able to lead and dictate.
