Jockey R Plumb reported the gelding failed to travel comfortably at any stage and was disappointing in its performance. Trainer A Willick stated that blood tests along with an endoscopic examination performed earlier this week were clear of irregularities and as such was unable to provide any tangible explanation for today’s disappointing performance. She undertook to have further veterinary examinations and blood tests carried out in the days subsequent to todays event, the results of which will be reported to Stewards. Post-race vet exam – no findings.
