Approaching 100m disappointed for a run between MARTINELLI and MISHANI PHOENIX and obliged to shift back to inside of MARTINELLI to secure clear running. Upon return to scale rider reported gelding began awkwardly and despite his efforts was unable to muster sufficient speed to hold MARTINELLI out from obtaining lead, which in his opinion had a detrimental affect on the gelding’s overall performance.
