Approaching the home turn when racing between runners, improved onto heels, steadied. Performed below market expectation, failed to run on over concluding stages. Underwent post-race vet. exam - no abnormalities. When commenting performance, Jockey D. Griffin stated today was first start wearing blinkers. The instructions were if possible to settle mid-field early, however, could not do so. Whilst obliged to steady approaching the turn, was disappointed with performance. Swab sample taken.
