Hampered on jumping. Raced three wide without cover throughout. After passing the 600m was forced wider on the course by INTIMISSIMI which shifted out to improve. When asked to comment on the performance, App. A. Patis explained that after being hampered on jumping and then being forced to race wide without cover, the gelding faded over the final 200m which she attributed to the wide run and being second up today on the heavy track. Stewards noted the explanation.
