Rider questioned re performance - stated gelding travelled well in early and middle stages however, failed to run on when placed under pressure and in his opinion may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer agreed with rider's comments and advised it is now his intention to send the gelding for a spell. Vetted - no abnormalities, swab sample taken.
