Near the 900m steadied off heels. Upon returning the filly had lost its near hind plate. Rider reported that the filly felt awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be sore in its front fetlocks, was slightly short striding in front and had a laceration on the off side of its mouth.
