Rider J Byrne reported the mare settled in a rearward position as per its usual racing pattern and that the tempo of the race did not suit the racing pattern of NICCI’S SPIRIT and in the circumstances was not entirely disappointed in the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
