When questioned regarding the horse's disappointing performance, apprentice S. Lacy stated that the mare travelled well until a point near the 1000m where the pace of the race quickened and then was left flat-footed and was disappointing. She added that in her opinion the mare did not appreciate today's track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
