Raced 3 wide throughout. Hung out severely after passing the 800m turn, placing its rider at a disadvantage and then continued to hang out for the remainder of the race. Jockey J. Orman reported the gelding may have got its tongue over the bit. Stewards nevertheless advised trainer M. Dunn that the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to racing again.
