When questioned regarding tactics adopted, jockey R. Fradd stated that as the mare was having its first start after a short break the instructions were to obtain a position with cover. He added that after complying with these instructions the mare finished the race off strongly and also stated that as the mare steps up in distance, he would expect it to be settling in a position closer to the lead.
