Approaching 1500m when overracing shifted out forcing TRUSTED MAGIC wider on the track. Raced greenly under riding in the home straight and shifted out abruptly approaching the winning post.

Rider questioned re tactics from 1200m - instructions were to maintain momentum and if pace slowed to improve forward to eliminate any stop start tactics not suitable to gelding, which is one paced and cannot show any sprint in its race. After going forward at this point was forced to race 3 wide remainder as PRIMAL TOUCH maintained its position to its inside and was forced to race in this position for remainder. Trainer confirmed instrucitons and was satisfied with ride. Rider lost whip near 200m.
