Became fractious in the float en route to the course and struck its head, examined by the veterinary surgeon pre-race and passed fit to start. Underwent a further veterinary examination at the barriers and was cleared to race. Slow to begin.

After being slow to begin, attempted to obtain a forward position closer to the rail but was unable to do so and was forced to race three wide without cover for the entirety of the event. When questioned regarding the horses performance, trainer K. Kemp, after viewing the video, agreed that the gelding had a hard run being caught wide without cover, noting that it was up in class for todays event and after also noting that it may have come to the end of its campaign stated that he was not overly disappointed with todays effort. He added that he would assess the geldings post-race recovery.

Slightly hampered approaching the 200m when racing in restricted room to the inside of TRIPLE JEOPARDY and then approaching the 100m had to be steadied when tightened for room by TRIPLE JEOPARDY which was taken in slightly by MR MARBELLOUZ. GO GET SUM then went to the line without being fully tested.
