After beginning moderately and obtaining a trailing position, commenced to overrace in the early stages. S. Galloway explained that he was happy to obtain a position following AMARYLISS in the early and middle stages, however the pace did slacken in the middle stages. He added that approaching the home turn he was slightly held up when he attempted to improve to the outside of AMARYLISS the filly had a tendency to lay in and he was unable to get it into clear running until passing the 150m.
