When questioned regarding the gelding’s improved performance today, trainer M. Nolan Jnr explained that the colt was gelded following its first start it and in his opinion this had improved the horse’s racing manners. He added that the gelding had jumped out well in a jump-out and had also worked well leading into today’s event, which was consistent with its track work leading into its first start.
