Raced three wide throughout. When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, jockey R. Fradd explained that after being caught wide he then attempted to go forward to obtain a better position closer to the rail but was unable to do so and the horse only travelled fairly and failed to finish off the event, proving disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities and the horse was sent to be swabbed.
