Raced keenly in the early stages. Passing the 800m steadied away from the heels of TE RANGI. Passing the 500m forced wider on the track. Passing the 200m steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of SPEAKING BAD, which shifted out.

After being caught wide in early stages allowed to stride forward to obtain a position outside the lead near the 1200m. Shortly after entering home straight commenced to weaken and its rider desisted from pressuring it over final stages as he felt something maybe amiss with the mare. Vetted - no abnormalities.
