Approaching the 500m bumped by DIXIE when racing in restricted room to inside of that runner. Racing in a rearward position and raced poorly. Trainer advised gelding’s nomination would be refused at TAB meetings until such time as it forms improves at country meetings.

Shortly after start bumped by SOLAR STAR and lost ground. Raced keenly when in a rearward position and then commenced to weaken after passing 400m and finished at the rear of the field. Vetted - displaying abnormal respiratory noise. Trainer advised intention to retire gelding - results of an ECG must be produced and gelding must trial satisfactorily prior to racing again. .
