When pace steadied approaching the 1200m elected to shift to a three wide position to improve and obtain the position outside the leader near the 1100m. Commenced to weaken leaving the 500m and finished a distant last. Trainer advised Stewards that he would review the gelding’s current preparation. Nonetheless was advised the gelding’s nomination would be refused at metropolitan and provincial TAB meetings.
