Soon after jumping commenced to hang out despite the efforts of its rider before being directed back towards the inside. Approaching the 1600 metres, when being steadied, commenced to over-race and again had a tendency to hang out and proved difficult to ride. Trainer J Wilson advised stewards DAY TO FAVOUR would now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no abnormalities and a warning was placed on its racing manners for hanging out.
