Raced three wide with cover for majority of the event. Rider M Rodd reported the horse was making an abnormal respiratory noise during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer R Lipp advised it was now his intention to retire SUPERSONIC BOOM from racing.
