Commenced to weaken around the home turn and finished a distant last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have bled from both nostrils for the first time and exhibiting cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer D Trindall was advised of the provisions of AR79(4) and also advised that the results of an ECG would be required prior to the mare trialling and being permitted to race again. Trainer D Trindall advised stewards that it would now be his intention to retire the mare.
