Began awkwardly. Approaching the 1100m, improved onto the heels of DIANA’S AFFAIR and had to be steadied. Raced wide from the 700m. Jockey A Mallyon reported that just prior to the start being affected, his mount lifted its near hind leg up onto the barrier patrician, causing it to begin very awkwardly and lose ground. He also added that the mare felt awkward in its action over the final 400m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
