The start of this race was delayed when PLUCK A WINNER was kicked by another runner. Underwent a veterinary examination, which cleared the gelding to take its place in the field.Jumped awkwardly. Had to be eased when placed in restricted room between SPOOLING and WICKED GIRL, which shifted in shortly after the start. When rounding the home turn hung out significantly, shifting BOLD DELAGO wider on the track. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Trainer K.
