When questioned regarding the performance, Apprentice stated that although her mount raced 3 wide, she had cover throughout the event and the gelding travelled comfortably. She said that shortly after straightening she shifted wider on the track to obtain clear running, however when placed under pressure her mount ran to the finish only fairly, as a result of the heavy impost of 61.5 kg, and in her opinion will derive benefit from today's run.
