Eased out of the event by its rider shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near fore sesamoid. The mare was treated on course and then transported to the Northern Beaches Veterinary Hospital for further treatment. Trainer O. Cairns was advised that the mare will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
