Slow to begin. Near the 900 metres SUPREME JET laid in momentarily. JUST CALL ME LOUIE, which was following, clipped heels and blundered and almost dislodged its rider which caused the saddle to slip. This resulted in Jockey Stewart losing use of his irons and tailed the field thereafter.
