Obliged to race three wide without cover throughout. Over the final 200m commenced to weaken and proved disappointing. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the off foreleg. The horse was treated by the veterinary surgeon for travel back to its stables, and trainer K. Miller was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start.
