Jenkinson stated that at its most recent start, the gelding drew a wide barrier and raced wide from the 700m that day. Whilst somewhat surprised in how THE LAST SAGA handled the heavy track conditions so well today, Trainer Jenkinson further stated that he was still expecting an improved performance from its last start in Mackay and was pleased with the performance of the gelding.
