Change of tactics. Connections advised that the horse would be ridden forward to obtain the lead if circumstances permit. The horse subsequently settled outside the leader in the early stages. In light of today’s poor performance, stewards advised connections that the horse’s nomination would be refused at metropolitan meetings until its form improved at provincial meetings. Trainer R . Gafa advised that it as his intention to retire the mare.
