Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and until approaching the 200m and then again near the 100m. When asked to comment, rider D. Browne indicated that whilst he was held up he also felt that the horse was somewhat reluctant to improve to the inside of other runners at it became awkward to the inside of GUADALUPE when attempting to improve near the 500m, and when able to improve near the 200m the horse raced greenly and when he was attempting to shift out around DELAWAR near the 100m, the horse again showed a reluctance to respond to being directed out at that point.
