Bumped by another runner after passing the 600m and continued to be buffeted by that runner until passing the 400m. Stable representative M. Sharp and jockey R. Stewart were questioned regarding the tactics adopted. Miss Sharp indicated it had been the intention to ride the horse positively out of the barriers at the horse’s only previous start,howeverit had been slow to begin and was therefore ridden at the tail of the field. She indicated again the intention was to be positive out of the barriers however did not expect the horse would begin as well as it did today and was therefore further
