When asked to comment on the horses performance, B. Stewart indicated that in his opinion, as this was the mares first start over 1600m, it did not run out the distance and was disappointing under pressure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Trainer C. Munce advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell.
