Obliged to steady away from heels near the 1100m and then overraced at heels until approaching the 800m. Held up rounding the home turn. Disappointed for a run and forced to avoid heels near the 350m and then was held up and unable to secure clear running until leaving the 200m when obliged to shift wider on the track to secure clear running. As trainer B. Currie was not in attendance at the race meeting, stewards will interview both him and apprentice R. Goldsbury in coming days regarding instructions and tactics adopted.
