Near the 1000m, when placed in restricted room, shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider, causing runners to its inside to clip heels and fall. The mare continued to race ungenerously from that point onwards and proved difficult to handle throughout the event. Trainer S. Mackkinnon was advised that the mare must trial satisfactorily in an official trial prior to its next race start. He stated that the horse was badly galloped on on both hindlegs and would more than likely be sent for a spell.
