Jockey B. Stewart reported that after being crossed by another runner near the 600m, the horse did not travel comfortably and made an abnormal respiratory noise rounding the home turn. The saddle on the horse slipped backwards during the event. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer S. Kendrick was advised that the horse must undergo an endoscopic examination, the results of which to be forwarded to stewards, and also must provide a veterinary clearance for the mare prior to its next race start.
