D. Browne was dislodged from his mount behind the barriers. Following the event jockey Browne was examined by the Club doctor and cleared to fulfil his remaining engagements. Began awkwardly. Commenced to overrace near the 800m and improved into restricted room near the 700m and had to be checked. When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, jockey D. Browne indicated that his mount raced greenly and overraced in the middle stages causing it to be checked near the 700m. He was also of the opinion that this had a detrimental effect on the horse’s overall performance. A post-race veterinary
