Overraced in the early stages. Bumped by another runner passing the 400m. Was restrained after passing the 300m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have suffered an injury to the near foreleg with suspensory damage. The horse was treated by the oncourse veterinary surgeon and transported back to the stables of trainer D. Forster for further assessment. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start.
