Rider questioned re tactics. He stated the filly began fairly, however was reluctant to muster speed in the early stages and therefore settled further back than intended. He added the filly raced somewhat awkwardly in the early stages when in a trailing position and coming to the home turn, when attempting to shift out to improve, made contact with FOXARELLI and was slightly held up passing the 400m. D. Browne further stated that he elected to shift back inside those runners and the filly finished the race off quite well and in his opinion may even appreciate longer races.

Rider R. Maloney reported that his mount felt awkward in its action behind. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near hind leg. Trainer D. Vandyke was advised that he will be required to provide a veterinary clearance for the horse prior to it racing again.
