L. Tarrant reported that at no stage did he feel the horse was entirely comfortable and indicated that he had concerns with the horse’s action. Trainer S. Kendrick agreed that during the event the horse, in his opinion, did not appear to be travelling comfortably and undertook to inform stewards of anything that may come to light in ensuing days which may have had an effect on the horse’s performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
